District 19 Community Services currently offers the following array of services, but is constantly seeking ways to expand and better meet the needs of consumers with substance abuse and mental health issues. The Community Services Division provides community-based prevention, mental health & substance abuse services to consumers of all ages. Programs within the Community Services Division include: Specialized Children’s Services, Prevention Services, and Mental Health Day Programs.

SPECIALIZED CHILDREN’S SERVICES
Specialized Children’s Services consists of three separate, but inter-related programs for children and adolescents in the District 19 service area:

School-Based Therapy Services
Mental Health Day Programs provide a supportive environment for Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI) and Dually Diagnosed Adults. These services are designed as an integral part of a continuum of care to ensure a consumer remains stable within the community.
