District 19 Child & Adolescent Services currently offers the following array of services, but is constantly seeking ways to expand and better meet the needs of children with substance abuse, intellectual disabilities, and mental health issues. The Child & Adolescent Division provides community-based prevention and treatment services to children of all ages. Programs within the Child & Adolescent Services Division include: Specialized Children’s Services, Clinical & Prevention Services, and the Infant Intervention Program.
CHILDREN'S CLINICAL AND PREVENTION SERVICES
Clinical & Prevention Services at District 19 recognizes that small behavioral changes can make a world of difference in the lives of individuals and families in our communities. In order to meet the special needs of children and adolescents, we offer case management, prevention, and emergency services.
SPECIALIZED CHILDREN’S SERVICES
Specialized Children’s Services consists of three separate, but inter-related programs for children and adolescents in the District 19 service area:
INFANT INTERVENTION
Infant Intervention Services are early intervention services provided to young children (ages zero to three) who have a developmental delay.
